How to Play

With Booster drafting you don’t have a deck before you start playing. Neither do any of your opponents. This evens the playing field and also allows for some chaotic and fun experimentation in game.

*This mode does require 4 booster packs per player. And generally it’s reccommended that it be played with 4 players and 1 complete booster box. *

Each player will open 1 booster pack. They will select a single card from the booster pack and then pass the remainder of the cards to a player on their left. This process is repeated until all cards have been taken from all booster packs. Each player should have 32 cards.

Once all cards have been drafted, each player removes 2 cards from their deck and shuffles the remaining 30. And they begin a standard game of Conquest of Fates with a reduced deck size.

All deck-building restrictions are removed for Booster draft. You may have multiple Stars, Apex units, or more than 4 copies of an individual unit. Additionally the Forbidden Zone List does not apply to this format.
