Attacking their Supply Line!
The Astrixids don’t just fight – they Infest. Your core strategy with this deck is to target the enemy’s supply lines, forcing them to discard cards directly from the top of their deck—before they ever have a chance to draw them.
In most games, you’ll want to prioritize units like [Astromillipede], [Osteophage], and [Visimite] early. These cards help erode your opponent’s options piece by piece, weakening their ability to resist assimilation as the battle progresses.
With enough momentum, you can even reach a point where your opponent receives a reduced Supply Drop—or none at all— because their deck has been stripped bare.
What you lose, we Devour
While stripping away your opponent’s resource is your primary strategy, most of your win conditions are based on consuming the units you’ve forced your opponents to discard.
Your highest CQ gaining units all look for the CQ of units in discard piles, or how many units are in the discard pile in total.
Make sure you’re being extra midnful of your power-house Apex units which can accumulate game-winning CQ values all on their own.

The Easiest place to start in taking Assimilation of the Astrixids to the next level would be a Celestial body. Choose one that gives you an additional victory path, more utility, or even one that further extends your opponent’s suffering.
You might also want to consider going all-in on your card milling strategy, or adding additional utility to control the pace of the game better.
